What is JumpTV Latino?
JumpTV Latino is the premier online Latin American TV network, streaming up to 30 popular live Latin American TV channels and lots of hours of On-Demand videos, including news, entertainment, music and sports channels.
How does JumpTV Latino work?
JumpTV Latino is an Internet TV service, in simple terms, is video and audio delivered over an Internet connection. This technology is also known as Internet protocol television, or IPTV. You can watch Internet TV on a computer screen, and soon on a television screen (through a set-top box).
It's almost the same as getting television through an antenna or a series of cable wires -- the difference is that information is sent over the Internet as data. At the same time, you can find even more variety on Internet TV than cable TV. You will find channels and shows on JumpTV Latino that you cannot find on cable or satellite.
With JumpTV Latino you can watch your favorite programming without needing a satellite dish or a TV cable service. You only need your computer and an Internet connection.

What system requirements do I need to watch JumpTV Latino?
The JumpTV Latino web site runs best on Internet Explorer version 6 or higher, and on Windows XP. It may work on other operating systems and browsers, but not reliably and some features may be limited or unavailable if you are running from a configuration that is not recommended.

What Latin American TV channels can I enjoy in JumpTV Latino?

Why are some channels not available from my location?
This typically has to do with our channel partners having distribution agreements with third-parties which prevent them from distributing their content in a given country/countries, in which case we're obligated contractually to "geo-block" this channel from this particular territory (thereby closing any access to this content from a given location). You may however be able to access channel/channels in question if you were to travel outside geo-blocked territory.

What Latin American TV on-demand videos can I enjoy with JumpTV Latino?
Visit the On-Demand TV page, with a full list of all available On-Demand TV videos on the site. You can have access to them by buying them individually or by subscribing to the packages.
Why are some programs not available or don't match the live broadcast of satellite?
This typically has to do with the fact that not all channels have 100% cleared rights to distribute each and every program it broadcasts over satellite over the Internet globally. Hence, to the extent that there are limitations with respect to distributing a certain program(s) on our network worldwide, we're obligated to block such program(s) from showing and replace with an alternative program(s) recorded from the same channel.
Why are certain popular channels or shows not offered?
While we're constantly striving to add new, better and more content, both in terms of live and on-demand content, we're limited by our license deals with channel and content partners. Having said that, it is work in progress and we've got some exciting new content in the works. So, please stay tuned.
How can I watch free videos?
Click on the Watch TV link on the top menu and then click on Free Videos tab. Once you find the content that you would like to watch, click on the Watch Free button and it will load within the video player.
How can I preview any live channel?
Go to Channels page or go to Watch TV and click on Channels tab. Once you find the content that you would like to watch, click on the Preview button and it will load within the video player.

I subscribed to a channel/package, now what do I do? How do I Watch Live TV?
You must be signed in to watch video on the site. Once you sign-in, you'll need to:
- Go to Watch TV.
- Click on My Channels tab.
- Once you find the content that you would like to watch, click on the Watch Now button and it will load within the video player.
How do I watch in Full Screen?
Go to Watch TV page. Click on the Full Screen icon in the lower right side of the player. Press ESC when you decide to exit Full Screen Mode.


What are the levels of quality for JumpTV Latino video streams?
JumpTV Latino Live Channels might vary in stream quality depending on technical limitations for each channel implementation. Most of the channels streams are available in these video qualities (or bit rate)
- Low Quality streams at approximately 100 Kbps: Offered for users with slow internet connections (low bandwidth)
- Standard Quality streams at approximately 350/450kbps: This is the standard internet streaming quality and offers good quality at the standard 320x240 video size.
- High Quality streams at approximately 950 kbps: This is a near-broadcast quality video at full screen on your computer.
How do I adjust my Preferred Video Quality?
Go to the Watch TV page, select the Video Quality you want depending on your Internet Connection Speed (or bandwidth):
- Low: This is the best video quality if you have a slow Internet connection (low bandwidth). It will offer a lower quality, but if this is your case and you pick a higher video quality you might experience video buffering.
- Standard: This is the best video quality if you have a medium speed Internet connection (medium bandwidth). This is the standard Internet streaming quality and offers good quality at the standard 320x240 video size.
- High: This is the best video quality if you have a fast Internet connection (high bandwidth). This is a near-broadcast quality video at full screen on your computer.
How can I enjoy high quality On-Demand videos if I have a low bandwidth Internet connection?
For On-Demand videos, you can click the pause button of the player and then wait until the video downloads completely. Then you will be able to watch it without experiencing buffering.


What time zone are the programs listed in?
All programs dates and times in the Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) reflect time according to your computer time zone setting. For example, if your computer is configured in GMT-4, all times on the EPG will be in GMT-4. This can be confirmed by checking the Now Paying program in the EPG, which should display your current time.
Can I watch my package on my TV at home?
If you have an s-video cable or other means of connecting your computer to your TV, the High Quality streaming option will work well. Note: some viewers may not have sufficient bandwidth available at home to receive this high-speed feed.

The basic objective behind the transition to JumpTV Latino was to provide a better and more customized user experience combined with far more and better Latin American television content than we have had at JumpTV.
Do I have to create a new account in JumpTV Latino in order to get access to my channels?
No, you can use your same JumpTV username and password in order to sign in to JumpTV Latino and enjoy your products.
Do I have to subscribe again in JumpTV Latino in order to get access to my channels?
No, you only need to sign in and you will have access to all your JumpTV subscriptions at no additional cost.
JumpTV Latino service is different than JumpTV, I'm not used to it.
As with any transition to a new service, certain level of unfamiliarity is expected. Having said that, the more you use the more second-nature it will become. Users that are using their work internet connection or so called accelerators, for faster access, might not be able to access the stream. We recommend using a regular open browser such as Internet Explorer.
